minutes a week (sometimes a bit more) and work on fluency and inflection in reading (which improve understanding greatly).  Children who raise their reading test scores 20% are entered into a drawing NEW YORK STATE FAIR.  The NYS Fair takes place each year about 1.2 miles from my house.  We can hear the mainstage concerts in our back yard (Kenny Chesney, yea – cue sarcasm).  We take our boys We built a snowmand last week. Not a huge one, but bigger than my kids.  He is buried up to his neck.  His head is coated in fresh snow so only his frozen carrot nose can really be seen. I was fortunate to be off Christmas eve and Christmas Day(the latter being the one day a year that Starbucks is closed).  It was really great.  We did tons of fun things with the kids and taught them about giving and how that's a big part of Christmas.  We had a birthday party for Jesus Christmas evening with a cake and balloons and homemade party hats. Sleeping alone.2. Sleeping in- instead of waking up to kids...it's nice for a day, but gosh I missed my kids.3.
